Before you begin#

You will need a DeepSeek Coding Plan, an API key, the service base URL, and the model name shown in your account. Pro costs $19.90/month or $119.40/year. Max costs $49.90/month or $299.40/year. Pro Max costs $69.90/month or $419.40/year. Ultra costs $299/month or $1,794.00/year. All prices are in USD. Annual charges are paid upfront once per year; approximate monthly equivalents are $9.90, $24.90, $34.90 and $149.50 respectively, displayed with the second decimal digit set to zero. The annual total is six times the monthly charge (50% off twelve monthly payments). Allowances and availability remain provisional.

Choose a plan#

Start with who a Coding Plan suits and the subscription explanation. Occasional use or a high proportion of cached input can make pay-as-you-go a better fit.

  1. Compare the plan price, included allowance, reset period, and renewal terms.
  2. Choose the plan that matches your expected usage.
  3. Once account and payment features are available, activate the plan from your account.

Get your connection details#

Open Account → API keys and create a key once the service is available. Copy it into a secure location. You will also need the service's base URL and a supported model name; these values will be provided when the service launches.

Make a request#

Check the compatibility table first. A setup guide does not mean dssub has passed a production test for that client.

Follow the API quickstart to send a test request. If you use a coding assistant, follow the relevant integration guide after confirming that the service supports the required API format.

Next steps#

Read API keys for key safety, Usage and limits for plan terms, and the guides for Claude Code, Codex, or OpenCode.
