Is this an official DeepSeek service?#

No. DS-sub is an independent service concept. It is not an official DeepSeek website and does not top up an official DeepSeek account.

Our public-facing name is dssub. Read About dssub and DeepSeek subscriptions explained for the difference between official API billing and an independent Coding Plan.

What do Pro, Max, Pro Max, and Ultra include?#

Monthly Coding Plans include these reference allowances: Pro 50M tokens per 5 hours and 400M per 7 days; Max 150M per 5 hours and 1,150M per 7 days; Pro Max 250M per 5 hours and 1,700M per 7 days; Ultra 5,100M per 7 days with no 5-hour quota cap. Annual plans retain their original allowances: Pro 75M/5h and 600M/7d; Max 150M/5h and 1,350M/7d; Pro Max 300M/5h and 2,400M/7d; Ultra 8,400M/7d with no 5-hour quota cap. M means one million tokens. Rate and concurrency limits still apply.

Which tools will work?#

The existing DeepSeek Coding Plan lists guides for Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, and other tools. This DS-sub preview has no connected API service; compatibility for a future DS-sub service is not yet verified.

The compatibility table separates available guides from tested dssub connections. The service readiness page records which services are connected.

Is a subscription always cheaper than the official API?#

No. Compare the fixed fee with the cost of your actual input, output and cache-hit tokens. Using only a small part of an allowance raises the effective price, while highly cached input can be inexpensive on a pay-as-you-go API. Our cost comparison includes illustrative workloads and partial-utilization estimates. These are calculations, not measured savings or a guarantee that a bursty workload fits the usage windows.

How do I obtain an API key?#

On the existing service, a plan key and setup information are assigned after payment while inventory lasts. DS-sub is a design preview and cannot issue keys.

What happens when my allowance runs out?#

On the existing service, a request exceeding a 5-hour or 7-day allowance is rejected with HTTP 429 and reset information. Wait for the applicable window to reset. Other rate and concurrency limits may also cause HTTP 429.

Do plans renew automatically?#

The planned subscriptions renew monthly or annually, depending on the selected billing period. Pro costs $19.90/month or $119.40/year. Max costs $49.90/month or $299.40/year. Pro Max costs $69.90/month or $419.40/year. Ultra costs $299/month or $1,794.00/year. All prices are in USD. Annual charges are paid upfront once per year; approximate monthly equivalents are $9.90, $24.90, $34.90 and $149.50 respectively, displayed with the second decimal digit set to zero. The annual total is six times the monthly charge (50% off twelve monthly payments). DS-sub has no checkout connected.

Where can I get help?#

Contact dssub at contact@deepseeksub.com or visit Help & contact. For payment questions, include your purchase email and order reference. Never share passwords, API keys, full card numbers or private code. A guaranteed support response time has not been set.

Who will handle payments?#

We plan to use Waffo for payments and subscription billing. Checkout is not connected yet. The legal seller, payment statement name and applicable provider terms will be shown before purchases are enabled. dssub is our public-facing service name and will provide product and billing-request support.

Can I cancel a subscription?#

Yes. The planned service will offer account billing management for cancelling future renewals, with dssub support available if you cannot access it. Cancel before the next renewal and check the confirmation for the effective date. Access normally continues until the end of the paid period, subject to plan limits. Cancellation does not automatically refund a payment. Deleting an account or stopping use does not cancel billing. See cancellation and refunds.

What is the refund policy?#

Submit a refund request within 15 calendar days of the relevant payment. Requests are reviewed against order, delivery and usage records; approval is not automatic. The window applies to the payment being reviewed, including a first purchase, renewal or point pack. Requests after 15 days are generally declined, with exceptions for duplicate or incorrect charges, non-delivery, applicable payment-provider requirements or rights protected by law. There is no automatic prorated refund for unused time or allowance.

Email contact@deepseeksub.com with your purchase email, order reference, payment date, amount, currency and reason. If you also want to stop renewals, request cancellation separately. Approved refunds are processed through the payment provider; approval does not mean the funds have already reached your account. See the full refund policy.
